Dr Ian Beasley
Consultant Physician in Sports and Exercise Medicine

Dr Ian Beasley was awarded a scholarship to study Sports Medicine in 1986. He completed his Diploma in 1987, then his MSc ten years later. He has worked in professional football for almost 30 years, most recently as team doctor to the England Team, and Head of Medical Services at The FA.
He was also Medical Officer for England and Great Britain Hockey, and covered World Cups, Olympic Games, and Commonwealth Games.
He is currently Medical Adviser to the Royal Ballet Company, part-time Consulting Physician at Manchester City FC, and Team Doctor to the London Broncos Rugby League team. He consults at CMC on Wednesday afternoons.
He is a member of BASEM and the Council of the FSEM.
His clinical interests are:
- Dance injuries
- Groin injuries
- Troublesome muscle tears
- Back pain in the athletic population
- 'Tennis' shoulder
